Washington Ave in the Springtime…

Posted in Fundraising, Volunteer! with tags , , , on March 2, 2008 by tjligouri

I suspect that I will be among many friends tomorrow who will be experiencing Spring Fever at it’s most feverish. That’s if the weather forecast (50’s and sunny) isn’t but a cruel joke.

My thought is this: if every business on Washington Ave. would invest a teeny amount of money in getting a couple of 1/2 whiskey barrels ($9.99 each at Big Lots I believe) and a couple of plants for each of them, how much would that improve the appearance of The Avenue?

Many years ago, I visited Quebec, Canada, and was told that government gave some sort of incentive to people to plant window boxes. What a great idea! At any rate, that is one of the reasons we are looking for someone with a green thumb to volunteer with the theatre. One of their duties would be to maintain the flowers boxes we intend to put out in front of the theater this spring. Enjoy the show!

Mad Sponsorship

Posted in Fundraising on March 2, 2008 by tjligouri

Hi everyone,

We need some “mad” sponsorship!  (“mad” has apparently replaced the word “major”) On March 29th, EPAC officially kicks off their Ten Year Gala-Bration with “Greasemania,” a 50’s style sock hop with live band as well as a DJ, food, games, raffles  and contests.  We are looking for some “mad” prizes that would be appropriate as well as coveted by kids ages 6 and up.  Some suggestions have been iPods, iTunes gift cards & music store gift cards, but anything would be appreciated!

Some of the many benefits of becoming a sponsor of Greasemania may include:

  • Your name listed in program book, press releases, advertising and event posters
  • Your name listed on our website as a sponsor of the event with a link to your internet web site.
  •  An ad in all EPAC program books for 2008.
  • Announcement and acknowledgement of appreciation for your sponsorship from the stage during 10th Anniversary Celebration event introductions.
  • Free VIP Tickets to Gala-Bration Events!
  • And the top reason for sponsoring Greasemania? Knowing that you are helping the Endicott Performing Arts Center to continue it’s mission of providing our community with free or low-cost theater programs for all ages for at least another decade!
